Childhood Medical Trauma 2

A continuation of the previous post and video that I shared outlining some reflections of my time experiencing appendicitis as a child.

It is so interesting how we as children can experience some of the toughest things and make it through without realizing how tough things actually were until we reflect upon them as adults. This is extremely important to recognize and acknowledge because often we are not cognizant of the beliefs and lenses that we have created from those experiences in our childhood. We also don't recognize how resilient we truly are. So when challenges come up, we have an understanding of what limits are possible but not then understanding of the strength that we have already exercised that is still within us from navigating our childhood.

Help Angelique Spread Light to 100 Young Lives!

This fundraiser is an opportunity to spread light and encouragement to 100 young people across America. With your support we'll donate 10 copies of "Days Of Darkness" to 10 youth organizations. In doing so, we'll let them know it's ok if things are dark right now because transformation is possible and things don't have to stay the same way they are.
